Camp Kinderleher

Under the strict Hashkafic supervision of the Vaad HaRabonim of Greater Pittsburgh.

Camp Kinderleher, located in Meadville, PA, is 48 acres pleasantly ensconced between two of the most fabulous state parks in Pennsylvania: Presque Isle and Pymatuning. A cabin here will give your weekends a bit more umpf as a family retreat or B&B resort.

CABIN FEVER

We are building cabins and sukkahs to impress the guests, but we need either your money or your time (or both, what else is new?). If you want to buy materials for a cabin, we will put it up for you. Micah Kinderleher has carpentry experience from here to there. He used to build boats, and cabinetry, if you will, is easy like Sunday morning, but you will have to come out to the camp to talk specs, needs, and dreams.

In addition, this location is teaming with Amish industry. They are invaluable helpers when it comes to raising the roof. Here is a recent example of their work, called the Frisco Kid⤵

This may not be mamish heimish, as far as log cabins go, but the option is nice.

ERUV EXPANSE

We can carry! The eruv has been expanded. A fence meets a phone line meets utility pole meets the people's Shabbos needs. In fact, if you begin to wander too far you will likely receive a shock from the electric fence–think of it as a hiddur mitzvah.

MIKVAH

On site freshwater pond for the rugged individual fed from crystal waters of the French Creek Falls. Bring your own towel.
